The wait is over.
On Friday morning, Catholic Central Athletic Director Tom Aldrich announced via email the hiring of new girls varsity basketball coach Suzy Bittman.
Bittmann was the assistant girls varsity basketball coach at Catholic Central for the past three years and the head junior varsity coach two years prior to that.
Aldrich can’t wait for the former Winona State University starting guard to take over this winter.
“As a school and as an athletic department, Catholic Central is thrilled to have a coach with the integrity and moral values of Coach Bittmann represent us,” Aldrich said. “Her passion in the vision she has for the girls program and the detail in her plan to accomplish this vision will provide a great atmosphere for our student-athletes, to excel both on and off the court.”
