Dog and cat owners are invited to attend a pet vaccination clinic being held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Municipal Hall on Saturday, March 15. The event is a collaborative effort with Safe Harbor of Kenosha, which serves the role of the Village’s Humane Society.

Safe Harbor is in its first year of helping the village with efforts to maintain the health of residents’ pets.

Village trustee Tim Mallach said the Village will issue dog and cat licenses to residents of Union Grove.

Vaccinations and pet care needs Saturday will include rabies, nail trimming and microchip implantation for dogs and cats older than four months.

Dogs and puppies can receive distemper, kennel cough and heartworm treatments as needed, with prices ranging from $3.99 to $36.

Cats and kittens can receive distemper and respiratory combination shots. Heartworm treatments will be provided.
