Miriam E. ‘Mim’ Paulson, 84, Burlington, died April 15, 2014, at Waterford Senior Living.
She was born in Salem, Mass., on July 18, 1929, to the late George and Annie (Thompson) Gagnan. She lived in Massachusetts until 1965, where she graduated from high school.
On June 21, 1964, in Woburn, Mass., she married Frank S. Paulson. Following marriage they moved to Wind Lake and then Burlington. He preceded her in death on June 16, 1999.
She worked as an executive secretary for Muskego School District, as well as Lake View Elementary School. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, reading and most of all, spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen Roberts, and grandchildren, Tony Roberts and Jesse Roberts.
Burial will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Wednesday, April 23, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Jan Kwiatkowski officiating. Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory, Burlington, is serving the family.
