Marjorie M. Brever, 88, Kansasville, died April 26, 2014, at Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington.

She was born July 28, 1925, to the late Frank and Henrietta (Fettes) Ludwig. She spent her life in Brighton Township where she received her education.

On Feb. 19, 1943, she married Edmund H. Brever at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Following marriage they made their home on the Brever farm in Burlington. They later moved to Eagle Lake Manor where they resided for 63 years. He preceded her in death on Feb. 10, 2010.

She was a homemaker and worked at Southern Colony where she was head of the Mangle Room. She was also a school bus driver for Union Grove High School for many years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Dover and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, camping, dancing and spending time with family and friends. She was always the happy face in the stands at many of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s ball games. She was known to them as “Little Grandma.” In her eyes, the MVP award always went to them.

She and Edmund traveled to Arizona, Florida, Texas, and cruised to the Caribbean and Alaska. She had the love of God in her heart and was a wonderful Christian woman. She will be missed by many.

Survivors include her children, Arlene Tourville, Kansasville, Darlene (George) Pisula, Monroe, Rich (Sue) Brever, Union Grove; grandchildren, Marie (Kevin) Orszula, Kim (Brian) Schmalfeldt, Stacy (Kevin) Baumeister, Patty (Joel) Bourgeois, Charlie (Molly) Pisula, Erin Taylor and Heather Asmann Brever; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert (Dorothy) Ludwig; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

She was further preceded in death by her infant sons, Henry and Francis; son-in-law, Kenneth Tourville; four brothers-in-law and four sisters-in-law and their spouses.
