Bruce “Turk” Stone, 56, Port Allegany, died June 27, 2014, in Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital, Lewistown, Pa.
He was born July 27, 1957, in Burlington, to the late Harold Olin and Marjorie Ann (Testdorf) Stone. He was married to Deborah L. Rohner.
He was a 1976 graduate of Burlington High School and had worked in the oil fields in Alaska and was ultimately a truck driver for Schlumberger.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Port Allegany, where he was a member of the board of trustees, the Port Allegany Moose Lodge #460, delivered Meal on Wheels in Port Allegany and had been caregiver for Alvie Anderson for several years.
Survivors include his daughter, Tierney Ann Stone, Racine; sister, Dawn (Pete) Weis, Burlington; brothers, Clyde (Tracy) Stone, Austin, Pa., Todd (Leanne) Stone, Racine; nieces and nephews.
He was further preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey Stone.
A Visitation for family and friends is Tuesday July 8, from 6-8 p.m., at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 625 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington.
