Library book sale seeks good used books

The Graham Public Library, 1215 Main St., Union Grove, is looking for used books, especially children’s books in very good condition, for its annual book sale.

Books that are musty, moldy, or in deteriorating condition cannot be accepted. No magazines, textbooks, or encyclopedias will be accepted.

The library’s annual used book sale will run Wednesday-Saturday, Sept. 3-6. Hundreds of titles appealing to all ages are available.

Book sale hours are Wednesday, Sept. 3, 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Thursday, Sept. 4, 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Friday, Sept. 5, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday, Sept, 6, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

On Saturday, customers may fill a bag of books for only $5. The bags are provided by the library.

Proceeds from the sale will be used to benefit the library.
