MEGAN L. TOFLINSKI

Easter Lily      Megan L. Toflinski, 38, Genoa City, died Aug. 15, 2014, at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center in Janesville.

The former Megan Lorraine Burmeister was born June 24, 1976, in Shakopee, Minn., to John and Dianne Paquin Burmeister.

On Oct. 21, 2000, in Kenosha, she married Keith J. Toflinski. They moved from Kenosha to Genoa City in 2001.

She worked as an administrative assistant for the Pleasant Street, Inc. and was a caregiver for the disabled. She attended the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Genoa City. She enjoyed her children, family and friends. She also enjoyed camping.

Survivors include her husband; children, John, Joshua, Jason and Madison all at home; her parents of Burlington; siblings, John (Kim) Burmeister, Belle Plaine, Minn., Athena Burmeister, Kenosha, Sara (Brad) Meseck, Rogers, Minn., Suzette (Todd Zimmerman), Lake Geneva, Jacob (Alli) Burmeister, Madison, Alita Burmeister, Lansing, Mich., Katherine Burmeister, Lisle, Ill., Scarlet (Andrew Kearney) Burmeister, Chicago, Michael Burmeister, Burlington; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Burmeister.

Funeral services were Aug. 19, at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, Genoa City. Interment was in Mound Prairie Cemetery in Twin Lakes. Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home in Genoa City, served the family.
