JEAN M. BENAVIDES

      Jean Mae Benavides, 66, Waterford, died suddenly Aug. 7, 2014, at Froedtert Memorial Hospital in Milwaukee.

She was born on May 26, 1948, to Neal and Mae Rosenholm in Burlington. She spent her early life in Burlington where she graduated from Burlington High School. After high school she attended University of Wisconsin–Madison where she completed her nursing degree.

In 1969 she married John Benavides and moved to Waterford where she raised her three children.

She enjoyed bowling and golf but most of all loved spending time with her six grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband; children, Jeffrey (Melanie), Jill (Troy), Jada (Shane); brother, Jim (MaryAnn); grandchildren, Jasmyne, Mitchell, Megan, Logan, Jase, Jersie; her beloved dog Holly; nephews Jason and Jake; other loving relatives and many friends.

Services were held. Mealy Funeral Home, Waterford, served the family.
