Patricia M. Davies Scheller, 90, Waterford, died Sept. 8, 2014, at Waterford Senior Living.
She was born on March 17, 1924, in Burlington to the late Frank and Emma (Zwiebel) Tobin. She spent her early life in Burlington where she attended St. Charles Grade School and graduated from St. Mary’s High School. Following high school she attended Marquette University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in teaching and then a Master’s Degree from UW-Whitewater. Pat taught at various schools before returning to Burlington where she enjoyed teaching the 4th grade children at Waller School, retiring in 1986.
Pat married twice; the first being to Robert Davies in 1955. Together they lived in Burlington and raised seven children. Bob preceded her in death in 1984. In 1987 she married Dr. Robert Scheller. They lived in Racine and wintered in Sun City Ariz. They had a wonderful retirement together which included a lot of traveling, golfing, and spending time with family and friends. In 2004 she was widowed again.
For the past six years she had been a resident of Waterford Senior Living where she was able to lead a satisfying life.
Survivors include her children, Robert (Pat Coutre) Davies, James (Laura Kelly) Davies, William (Mary Ross) Davies, Anne (Joe) Walsh, and John Davies; daughters-in-law, Pam (nee Draves) Davies and Lori (nee Opliger) Davies; step-children, Thomas Scheller, Theresa Scheller, James (Purna) Scheller, Patricia Krysiak and Margaret Scheller; grandchildren, Nicholas Davies, Jennifer Davies, Mary Pat Davies, Teresa Davies, Emma Davies, Bridget Davies, Kelly Davies, Melinda Davies, Tricia Davies, Elizabeth Walsh, Colleen Walsh and Erin Walsh.
She was further preceded in death by her sons, Mark and Douglas; a sister, Margaret Nelson; a stepdaughter, Jean and infant siblings, Tom and Joan.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Waterford Senior Living and Allay Hospice for all the love and individual care they provided.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Sept. 13, at 11 a.m., at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Waterford. The Rev. Gene Doda will officiate. Family and friends may visit at the church from 10-11 a.m. Burial will be private. Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory, Burlington, is serving the family.
