JOAN M. JURANEK-SCHILLER

      Joan M. Juranek-Schiller, 82, Burlington, died Sept. 9, 2014, at Lakeview Specialty Hospital in Waterford.

He was born in Burlington on Oct. 23, 1931, to the late Henry and Frances (Gallagher) Juranek. She lived her entire life in Burlington, graduating from Burlington High School.

On Oct. 3, 1953, she married Harold ‘Boots’ Schiller at St. Mary’s Church. He preceded her in death on Nov. 14, 2012.

She worked at Burlington Hospital for many years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church, was a huge Packer fan, enjoyed going out for coffee with her friends, and enjoyed sitting outside with her golden retrievers watching the birds.

Survivors include her sons, Steve (Diane) Schiller and David Schiller; granddaughters, Katie Schiller, Sarah (Adam) Quackenboss and Haley Schiller; and her great-granddaughter, Lilly Quackenboss.

She was further preceded in death by her brother, Richard Juranek, and sister, Jane Fountain.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Paul Webber and staff for the special care they gave Joan.

Private services will be held at a later date. Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory, Burlington, is serving the family.
