Leslie L. Charbarneau, 77, of Burlington died Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, at his home.
He was born March 5, 1937, to Peter and Edna (MkRill) Charbarneau in Rhinelander. On Dec. 10, 1976, he was united in marriage to the late Elaine Bonin in Milwaukee. Following their marriage they resided in Burlington. Leslie was retired, but had worked as a long haul trucker for Asche Transfer. His hobbies included gardening, woodworking and fishing.
He is survived by his children, Sherrilee J. Charbarneau and Jodi Lynn (Chris) Kinder; and a grandson Aiden Kinder. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and his 11 siblings, Mart, Joe, Bud, Ed, John, Gertrude, Julie “Etta,” Laureen, Vi, Dorthy and Doris.
The family has suggested memorials to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, American Heart Association, World Vision or the ASPCA.
Leslie’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Seasons Hospice and all the friends and neighbors who helped us get through this difficult time.
Per Leslie’s request, no services will be held. Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory, 625 S. Browns Lake Dr., Burlington, is serving the family.
