DIANE M. TENHAGEN

Easter Lily      Diane M. Tenhagen, 66, Nekoosa, formerly Burlington, died Nov. 10, 2014, at House of the Dove, in Marshfield.

She was born in Burlington on March 29, 1948, to the late Jerome and Marie (Mehring) Vogt. She spent her early life in Burlington where she graduated from St. Mary’s High School.

On May 18, 1968, she married Thomas J. Tenhagen at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Burlington. Following marriage they made their home in Union Grove and Waterford before moving to Nekoosa 15 years ago.

Diane and Tom were owners of Tenhagen Acoustics. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Nekoosa, was a best friend to her husband, a caring mother to her children and a loving grandmother.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years; children, Brian (Linda) Tenhagen, Leslie (Shawn) Kinsey; grandchildren, Veronica and Michael Tenhagen, Coby and Addison Kinsey; siblings, Ron (Barb) Vogt, Jerry (Marietta) Vogt, Jeff (Kathy) Vogt; brothers-in-law, James (Laurie) Tenhagen, Charles (Carol) Tenhagen, Marshall Oberhart; sisters-in-law, Mary (Bill) Piper, Dorothy Steiner, Ruth (Steve) Zakowski; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

She was further preceded in death by her brother, Charles Vogt; in-laws, Stanley and Eileen Tenhagen; sister-in-law, Joan Oberhart; brother-in-law, Dale Steiner; and nephew, Joel Tenhagen.

The family would like to thank Dr. Ejercito; nurse, Diane and all the staff at House of the Dove for their wonderful care.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Nov. 15, at 12:30 p.m., at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. James Volkert presiding. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 625 S. Browns Lake Drive, Burlington, on Friday, Nov. 14, from 4-8 p.m.
