TAMMY M. HENNING

Easter Lily      Tammy M. Henning, 50, Burlington, died unexpectedly at her home on Nov. 21, 2014.

She was born in Racine on Jan. 7, 1964, to Eugene and Karen (Maison) Dexter. She spent her early life in Brighton where she attended St. Francis Grade School and graduated from Westosha Central High School. After high school she went to cosmetology school.

On Oct. 3, 1987, she married Steven Henning at St. Francis Church, Brighton. Following marriage they made their home in Burlington.

She started her career as a cosmetologist and hair stylist with Trendsetters in Burlington. She worked there for 30 years and recently became co-owner. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, enjoyed flower gardening and scrapbooking and loved to go shopping with her nieces. She was always snapping pictures of people and has many pictures of her family and friends, all of whom she loved dearly.

1   Survivors include her husband; son, Patrick Henning; parents; brother, Jeff (fiancée Kelly) Dexter; mother-in-law, Helen Henning; nieces, Cheyenne and Zoe; nephew, Luke; brothers and sisters-in-law, Teri (Bill) Stoffel, Larry (Becky) Henning, Linda Wren, David Henning; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; father-in-law, Lawrence Henning Sr.; and brother-in-law, John ‘Bubba’ Wren.

The family would like to thank the Burlington Rescue Squad for their attention and care.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Nov. 26, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Friends and relatives many visit with the family on Tuesday, Nov. 25, at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 625 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington, from 4-8 p.m. Burial will be private.
