Frances M. Watts, 94, Burlington, died Dec. 14, 2014, at her home.
She was born in Boone, Iowa, on July 24, 1920, to the late Clare George and Mary Elizabeth (Morris) Smith. She spent her early life in Boone where she graduated from Boone High School.
On Oct. 17, 1938, in Missouri, she married Bernard Floyd Watts. Following marriage they made their home in Boone, and Maywood, Ill., before moving to Burlington in 1951. He preceded her in death on May 5, 1983.
She worked as a secretary for Albert Trostel Packings, in Lake Geneva for many years. She was a member of United Methodist Church and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Survivors include her children, Gary Allen (Lynn) Watts, Soudan, Minn., Sue Ann (Peter) Koenigs, New Holstein, David Bryan Watts, Burlington; grandchildren, Tiffani (Al) Wollum, Tate (Kelly) Watts, Tyge (Jennifer) Watts, Tiara Watts, Jason (Monica) Koenigs, Kimberly (Dr. Eric) Zeiszler; great-grandchildren, Allie Jennings, Tyge Watts, Hannah Watts, Noah Watts, Seth Watts, Katrina Koenigs, Benjamin Koenigs, Jacob Zeiszler, Caleb Zeiszler; and sister, Naomi Hensen, Burlington.
She was further preceded in death by her son, Lynn A. Watts; granddaughter, Kelly Koenigs; brother, George Smith; brother-in-law, Vern Hensen; and niece, Cheryl Giffin.
The family would like to thank Aurora VNA Hospice and their many wonderful neighbors and friends for all their care and support during this time.
Services for Frances are Saturday, Dec. 20, at 2 p.m., at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 625 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington. Visitation is Dec. 20, from 1 p.m., to time of service. Burial will follow in Burlington Cemetery.
