  1. My prayers are with the family. Mr Poudrier, even after 35 years he is still Mr Poudrier, left a long lasting impression on me with four simple words. Those that knew him knew those words, “Don’t just get by”. I thank you for those words Mr Poudrier, they helped me do a little more. Gods speed, rest in peace.

Our thoughts and prayers for his family and friends. He was a great neighbor and a kind man.

  3. Roger Proudrier was the MOST inspiring teacher that ever crossed my path. In the sixth grade at Cooper School, back in 1969, he inspired me to learn and to accomplish. His memory will never fade away from me. With true sincerity, he will be missed.

  4. I have fond memories of coming to work in the morning before the students arrived and smelling bread baking in Roger’s bread machine….and the sound of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons coming from his classroom. He was very passionate about his teaching….and life.

  5. Mr. Poudrier was my 5th grade teacher at Cooper School, and he was one of my favorite teachers in all my years of school. I was saddened to hear of his passing, and my prayers go out to the family. Mr. Poudrier was such a kind, compassionate, and caring teacher, and he had a great sense of humor in the classroom. He made his students very passionate about science, and I was always looking forward to science class each day with him. I learned so much about science from Mr. Poudrier. To this day I still remember some of his songs and sayings as a way to remember facts about living organisms or the periodic table. I also fondly remember many of the projects we did in his science class. Mr. Poudrier was one of the most memorable teachers I ever had in the best way possible, and he helped shape who I am today. Mr. Poudrier loved and cared for all the kids he taught and had such a great rapport with each student. Quite simply, he was one of the best teachers I had in school. Mr. Poudrier was a great man and a wonderful teacher, and he will be missed.

  6. What a wonderful teacher, especially amidst a host of wonderful teachers at Cooper! My husband and oldest daughter both had him and remember him fondly, and how very passionate he was about science. My daughter still will not eat hotdogs to this day (she is in her 30s) due to his lesson on what goes into hotdogs. He was an amazing and memorable teacher who truly loved teaching his many students.
