Robert Wayne Gapinski, 76, Waterford, died peacefully Dec. 16, 2014, at East Troy Manor. He was born on Jan. 10, 1938, to the late Frank and Helen Gapinski in Milwaukee. He spent his early life in Milwaukee.
In February of 1959 he married the love of his life, Patricia Tuska, in West Allis. He was a tool designer by trade and was most proud of working at Superior Tool. He was very influential in designing the new roof at Miller Park.
He was an avid model train collector and was heavily into stamp collecting.
Survivors include his wife; son, Robert, Waterford; daughter, Debra Fetting, Waukesha; grandchildren, Kim, Kyle and Kristen; and his sister, Delores Zylkowski.
He was further preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Helen, and his birth mother, Lillian.
Per the family’s wishes, no services will be held. Mealy funeral Home, Waterford, served the family.
