Absolutely Waterford sets fourth annual meeting Jan. 13

Absolutely Waterford will elect members of its 2015 Board of Directors during the group’s fourth Annual Meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 13, 5:30 p.m., in the Community Room at Waterford Public Library, 101 River St.

The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

Hosted by the current Board of Directors, the meeting will also include the Treasurer’s Report, a review of the bylaws and a presentation of the past year’s accomplishments and future goals. Commendations will follow immediately, and light refreshments will be served.

Current board members include President Mary Beth Mikrut (Mikrut Consulting), Vice President Vikki Zuehlke (citizen volunteer), Past President Mike Ciezki (In Home Windows and Fashions), Treasurer Gil Amborn (citizen volunteer), Secretary John Putra (Riverside Chiropractic), director Howard Bryant (citizen volunteer) and ex-officio members Cynthia Jensen (AW Executive Director), Maureen Vander Sanden (AW marketing coordinator) and Carrie Orlovsky (Waterford Village Clerk).

Newly-elected terms are for one year. Mikrut will continue as president through 2016.

Absolutely Waterford is the village’s Main Street-designated, non-profit organization charged with revitalizing and preserving the Downtown Heritage District.
