GARRETT S. AMMON

Easter Lily      Garrett S. Ammon, 45, Spring Prairie, died Jan. 10, 2015, at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa, surrounded by his loving family following a brain aneurysm.

He was born in Waukesha on Sept. 9, 1969, to Gary A. and Susan L. (Breckenfeld) Ammon. He graduated from East Troy High School before attending and graduating from Gateway Technical College.

He was a Master Certified RV Technician with Burlington RV Superstore. He attended Honey Creek Community Baptist Church and enjoyed playing pool and darts. He had also been in Naval Reserves for two years. He was a devoted father and loved spending time with his daughter and sons.

Survivors include his parents; children, Zakariah and Ariel Ammon; children of his heart, Spencer and Harrison Loebeck; brothers, Brian (Beth) Ammon and Gregory (Iram Trevino) Ammon; nephew, Allen Ammon; niece, Madison Ammon; aunts; uncles; cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Daniel Ammon.

Services for Garrett will be held at Honey Creek Community Baptist Church on Saturday, Jan. 17, at noon with the Rev. Jane Mathison presiding. Visitation is at the church on Saturday from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Burial will follow the service at German Settlement Cemetery.   Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory, Burlington, is serving the family.

    • I knew Garrett and for u too post something like this is so irresponsible….he treated and loved all those kids equally…shame on you

    • Steven, I was the one who decided on the wording of this part of Garrett’ s obituary so if you have a problem with it, bring it on. I go by what I see and for years I have seen Garrett treat Spencer as a son. If you can actually read, it says that Spencer is a child of his heart because he loved him as a son whether he was biological or not. In this family blood ties do not matter as much as the ties of love and we all could see every weekend when Garrett, Zak, and Spencer came over how much he loved both of the boys equally.
