MARK A. BEYER


Mark A. Beyer, 44, Burlington, died peacefully at his home Dec. 20, 2011. He was born Nov. 7, 1967 in Burlington to Michael and Marlene (Arnold) Beyer. He spent his early life in Wheatland and was a graduate of Central High School.

He was a plumber and worked for the government in Iraq and Afghanistan for six years. He was also a member of the Local 75 Plumbers Union.

He was an avid Brewers and Packer fan and had also enjoyed playing guitar. He had played baseball for Central High School and Genoa City and had coached Lakeland Little League.

Survivors include his mother, Marlene (Richard) Butterworth, Franklin; fiancée, Ki Johnson, Burlington; children, Jenni Ohlrich, Brett Beyer and Shelly Beyer, all Burlington; the mother of his children, Kathie Beyer; grandmother, Doreen Butterworth, Ashton, England; siblings, Hope (Aaron) Gascoigne, Genoa City, Gina (Jake) DeBell, Salem, Andie (Brian) Brinkman, Menomonee Falls; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.

Visitation is Wednesday, Dec. 28, from 5 p.m. until time of memorial service at 7 p.m., at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 625 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington. The Rev. Grace Cajiuat will officiate.
