Michelle Weisheim of Waterford has been selected to represent her community as Mrs. Racine County in the upcoming Mrs. Wisconsin Pageant, being held Saturday, March 7, in Fond du Lac. The winner of the state pageant will represent Wisconsin in Las Vegas for the Mrs. United States crown.

As a local titleholder, Weisheim can make appearances, help in community events and support her local charity. She names her favorite charity as iCare – Saving & Improving Lives, a Waterford-area support group that assists people impacted by drug abuse, suicide and other personal problems. The web site is www.icare-local.org.

Other local groups Weisheim supports are Operation Give Hope and Generosity Feeds.

According to the application she submitted for the local pageant, Weisheim, 31, has been married to her husband, Bob, for 8 years; they have three daughters, ages 6, 3 and 1. She works as a part-time certified medical assistant, and lists her hobbies as reading, traveling and being outdoors with her family.

Asked to offer three words that best describe her, Weisheim lists “fun, energetic and loyal.”

Weisheim said she is thrilled to have been chosen as Mrs. Racine County and said that win or lose, she’s happy just to have the opportunity to showcase her local community at the state level, and bring awareness to iCare and the other charities she supports.
