Lyle L. Vorpagel, 95, Springfield, Wis., died March 9, 2015, at Lakeland Healthcare Center, Elkhorn.
He was born July 14, 1919, in Springfield to the late Julius and Anna Brown Vorpagel.
He married Anita Neiman on March 12, 1949, in Lake Geneva. He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Burlington.
Survivors include his daughters, Janet (Greg) Kraft, Elkhorn, Corrine Buelter, Hurst, Texas; son, Bruce (Margaret) Vorpagel, Cottage Grove, Minn.; 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
He was further preceded in death by his wife on Nov. 13, 2012; sisters, Ruth and Ethel; brothers, Herbert, Earl, and Clarence; sons, Thomas and Marvin; and daughter, Marie.
Services are Saturday, March 14, at 10 a.m., at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Burlington, with the Rev. Robert W. Bolling officiating. Burial will be held at Hudson Cemetery. Visitation is from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church.
