County 4-H festival March 28 at Union Grove High School

More than 50 4-H members are participating in the 14th annual Racine County 4-H Communication and Performing Arts Festival on Saturday, March 28, 1-4 p.m., at the Union Grove High School Performance Center, 3433 S. Colony Avenue (Highway 45), Union Grove.

The event is free to all families, friends and community members. Festival participation is open to all 4-H families. Participant ages range from 6-18 years old.

A variety of acts will be performed in the Performing Arts category, including singing, instrumental, dancing, skits. Special emphasis for 2015: “Past-Present-Future.”

The annual Communication Arts categories include face-to-face judging in speaking, demonstrations, computer and creative arts, and photography. These will be presented in different classrooms; a schedule will be provided.

Food and drink will be available to purchase, sponsored by the Jr. Leaders Association.
