Emergency crews were busy Monday morning as an early spring snow touched off a rash of vehicular incidents.
According to local police and sheriff’s department radio transmissions, emergency responders were busiest in the period between 6 and 8 a.m.
Among the radio dispatches during that period were:
– Highway 20 and Sharp Road, Town of Dover, for a rollover crash.
– Pine Street and Schaal Road, Town of Burlington for a rollover.
– Mt. Tom Road, Town of Burlington, for a bus in the ditch.
– 390000 Block of Highway 50 for a car crash.
– 125th Avenue at 39th Avenue, Union Grove, for a bus accident.
– Highway 75 at Shroeder, Kansasville, for a car crash.
– Highway 83 at Blackhawk Drive, City of Burlington, for a car crash with personal injury.
– Adams and Pine streets, City of Burlington, for a car crash.
