Peter M. Mueller, 72, Burlington, died April 18, 2015, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Racine on June 17, 1942, to the late Frederick and Beatrice (Hall) Mueller. He spent his early life in Union Grove.
On July 27, 1990, he married Pamela A. Rudolph. Following marriage they made their home in Burlington. He worked for Oaks and Son’s as a heavy equipment operator, retiring in 2004. He was a member of the Operating Engineer Union Local #139, was an avid hunter, an outdoor enthusiast and enjoyed doing woodworking projects. He loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife; children, Paul (Debbie) Dettmann, Lee Mueller (Wendy Smith), Karen Mueller (Tim Kraker), Scott Vos; grandchildren, Brandon, Brittany, Isaac, Brianna, Joshua, Mason, Brody, Craig and Karly; siblings, Marilyn (Albert) Raboine, Paul (Christine) Mueller and John (Rita) Mueller.
He was further preceded in death by his aunts and uncles.
The family would like to thank all their family and friends for their love and support during this time.
Services are Thursday, April 23, at 11 a.m., at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Yamid Blanco presiding. Visitation is Wednesday, April 22, from 5-8 p.m., at Schuette-Daniels Funeral home, 625 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington, with a prayer vigil at 7:30 p.m.
