Irene C. ‘Renee’ (Polski) Dingel, 79, Waterford, died peacefully with her family by her side on May 1, 2015.
She was born in Milwaukee, on Aug. 24, 1935. She was a graduate of Mercy High in Milwaukee.
In November of 1953 she married William G. Dingel whom she was married to for 20 years before his passing. After his death, she married George Schneider whom she was married to for 28 years before his passing. Renee was the former owner of ‘Renee’s’ restaurant in Waterford, where she mastered the gift of being a people person. She was always up for anything without hesitation. She loved walking her dog, going to casinos, baking, traveling, ski diving (which she did until the age of 45), motorcycle riding, and dancing. One could say she loved life and helping others.
Survivors include her daughters, Susan Duda, Cindy (Lee) Bennett, Sharon Dingel, Sandra Dingel, Carrie Dingel; a son, William Dingel; brother, Stan (Elizabeth) Polski; 12 grandchildren, Chad, Joey, Janay, Devin, Matthew, Kristyn, William, Chelsey, Nathan, Ashley, Jared and Mitchell; seven great-grandchildren and one on the way; other nieces; nephews; relatives and friends.
She was further preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Alice.
Private family services have already taken place. Mealy Funeral Home, Waterford, served the family.
