John B. O’Neill, 92, Burlington, died May 9, 2015, at Waterford Senior Living. He was born in Burlington on June 22, 1922, to the late Michael and Louisa (Boyle) O’Neill. His early life was spent on the family farm in Dover Township.
On Sept. 17, 1946, he married Anna Marie Fleming at St. Charles Catholic Church. Following marriage they made their home in Burlington where they raised their family. She preceded him in death on Sept. 12, 2010.
He was a lifelong resident of Burlington and a member of St. Charles Church. He was employed with We Energies as a foreman for 39 years until his retirement in 1985.
Survivors include his children, Kathy (Leonard) Morgan, East Troy Township, John M. (Mary nee Skagen) O’Neill, Castro Valley, Calif., Tom (Jackie nee Schmelzer) O’Neill, Genoa City, Dan (Ann nee Lust) O’Neill, Kaukauna, Bob (Julie nee Wagner) O’Neill, Burlington; grandchildren, Kelly Woyak, Ann Hageli, Julie Apriesnig, Michael Morgan, Ryan O’Neill, Aaron O’Neill, Margaret ‘Meg’ O’Neill, Jennifer O’Neill, Meghan O’Neill, Melissa Doyle, Marci Rueter, Molly Elsbury; and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was further preceded in death by his brothers, Warren O’Neill and Russell O’Neill, and sisters, Rose Maurice and Margaret ‘Peg’ Eaton.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 12, at 6:30 p.m., at St. Charles Catholic Church with the Rev. James Volkert presiding. Visitation will be held at the church on May 12, from 5-6:15 p.m. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery on Wednesday, May 13, at 9:30 a.m.
