Ronald L Mattke, 77, Natrona Heights, Pa., formerly Waterford, died peacefully May 16, at Good Samaritan Hospice Unit-Concordia in Cabot, Pa.
He was born in Milwaukee on Sept. 20, 1937, to the late Mildred (Keil) and Edward Mattke. He was a self-employed carpenter/contractor for many years. He served for many years on the Waterford Village Board and Planning Commission. He was also a volunteer for the Waterford Fire and Rescue Squad.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Brenda L. (Stepp) Mattke; daughter, Rhonda (Dean) Hegemann, Burlington; grandson, Joshua Hegemann; great-granddaughters, Peyton and Chesney; great-grandson, Ryder; sister, Susan Tomczyk, Milwaukee; sister-in-law, Janet Mattke, of Lake Geneva, and many nieces and nephews.
His brothers, Gerald and his twin brother Donald Mattke further precede him in death.
At the family’s request there will be no public visitation and service will be private. Redmond Funeral Home, Inc. Freeport, Pa., is serving the family.
