Alene Bybee, 92, Lindenhurst, Ill., died June 15, 2015. She was born in Marysville, Ind., on June 17, 1922, to the late William and Maude Murrah.
She spent many years living in Burlington and Bristol, before moving to Lindenhurst in 1957. She was an active member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her children, Beverly Bybee, David (Mandy) Bybee, and Esther King; grandchildren, Mark, John, Josh, Heather, Michael, and Crystal; great-grandchildren, Josh, Kyle, Jaydon, Ethan, Noelle, Mason, and Liam; and her dear friends, Betty and Norb Pischke and Alma Gilbert.
She was further preceded in death by her husband Ed, brother Howard Murrah, and by her grandson Matthew.
Visitation is Monday, June 22, from 4-8 p.m., at Ringa Funeral Home, 122 S. Milwaukee Ave. (Rte. 83) Lake Villa, Ill. Additional visitation will be at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1822 E. Grand Ave., Lindenhurst, on Tuesday, June 23, from 9-10 a.m. A funeral service will begin at 10 a.m., at church on Tuesday. Burial will follow in South Bristol Cemetery in Kenosha.
