Waterford Fourth of July events set

The Waterford July 4th parade, sponsored by the Waterford Lions Club, starts at 11 a.m. The parade starts at 7th and Main and runs west to 1st Street, then goes south to Whitford Park. Check in for parade lineup starts at 9:30 a.m., at 5th and Aber streets.

Entry forms are available at In Home Floor & Window Fashions, 241 N. Milwaukee St., Waterford Chamber of Commerce, or by calling Scott Gunderson at (414) 581-3157. Entries are taken right up to July 4.

The kids parade starts at 10:30 a.m., and begins at 3rd and Main and continues to Whitford Park. Entry forms are available at Uncle Harry’s or register on site. Registration begins at 9:15 a.m.

River City 4th Fest 5k run/walk starts at 8 a.m. Registration is from 6:45-7:45 a.m., at Whitford Park. For information, call Jim McFadden at 514-2925.

The Great Duck Race is back. Duck pins will be sold on the parade route or from any Waterford Lions Club member. Proceeds help fund the parade. The race will be held at 1:30 p.m., in the river at Ten Club Park.
