Sandra K. Jacobson, 66, Lyons, died Aug. 15, 2015, at her home. She was born in Racine on Oct. 9, 1948, to Charles and Edith (Peterson) Jacobson. She grew up in Racine where she graduated from Horlick High School before attending Gateway Technical College. She had lived in Lyons for the past 20 years and worked as a Gas Control Specialist for Wisconsin Natural Gas / We Energies.
She enjoyed gardening and traveling and loved being with her pets at home and enjoyed the horses she owned for at least 30 years.
Survivors include her mother; siblings, Paul (Janet) Jacobson, Nancy Jacobson, Charles (Kim) Jacobson Jr.; niece and nephew, Kelly (Peter) Venable and Brian (Michelle) Jacobson; great-nieces and nephews, Hannah, Daniel, Caleb, Ruth and Nevaeh.
She was preceded in death by her father.
The family would like to thank Dr. Haider and his staff for all their care and special consideration over the years, also Aurora at Home Hospice for all their care and compassion.
Memorials to the Wisconsin Humane Society are suggested.
Per Sandy’s wishes a private service will be held by the family. Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory, Burlington, is serving the family.
