Darlene Mehring, 85, Grayson, Ga., died Aug. 18, 2015, at her residence.
A native of Wisconsin, Mrs. Mehring was the former co-owner of Waterford Oil Co. She was church organist from 1958 to 2002 and taught music for 40 years.
Survivors include her husband Vic Pfitzner, Grayson, Ga., daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Eric Peterson, Snellville, Ga.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father Fredolin Robers, stepfather Albert Wuttke, mother Lorraine Wuttke, siblings Beverly (Pete) Harris, and Ardell (Nancy) Robers, her first husband William Mehring, and her son Michael (Yvonne) Mehring.
A funeral Mass is Saturday, Aug. 22, at 1 p.m., at St. Oliver Catholic Church, Snellville, Ga. Father John Welch, M.S. will serve as Celebrant. Tim Stewart Funeral Home, Snellville, Ga., is serving the family.
