Evelyn Ann Woods, 74, Waterford, died Sept. 18, 2015, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Milwaukee. She was born Nov. 7, 1940, to the late Andrew and Mildred Schafer in Milwaukee.
On May 7, 1960, she married the love of her life Dale Woods. They had called Waterford their home since 1977.
She worked at K-Mart in Burlington for 10 years, crocheted baby hats for Love Inc., and grew beautiful flowers in her garden. She enjoyed cooking holiday meals where everyone went home with leftovers and she loved taking pontoon boat rides on Tichigan Lake.
Survivors include her husband, Dale; children, Steven (Margaret) Woods, Kristine (Christopher) Moon; grandchildren, Rachael, Renee (Luke) Sanders, Amber, Dale; great- grandchildren, Colton, Gracelyn, Brennen, Haili and Braylen.
She was further preceded in death by her brother, Raymond.
She was loved by all, and will be missed by all.
A private burial for the family has already taken place. Mealy Funeral Home, Waterford, served the family.
