MARY J. BUSCH

Easter Lily      Mary Jane ‘Janie’ Busch, 83, Burlington, died Oct. 2, 2015, at Rosewood Manor, Delavan. She was born in Burlington on March 5, 1932, to the late William and Anna (Kortendick) Tenwinkel. She was a lifetime resident of Burlington where she attended St. Charles Grade School and graduated from Burlington High School.

On June 25, 1955, at St. Charles Catholic Church, she married Thomas G. Busch. He preceded her in death on Sept. 19, 1983.

She worked at Marden Electronics and was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. She enjoyed watching the Packers and Brewers, fishing, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Peter (Jackie) Busch, Lu Ann (William) Schwedler, Barbara (Bruce Wark) Gutermuth; grandchildren, Anna Gutermuth, Ashley Busch and Jesse Busch; her sisters-in-law, Shirley Tenwinkel and Nancy Tenwinkel.

She was further preceded in death by her siblings, Madelyn ‘Mickey’ (Raymond) Busch, Willard ‘Bill’ (Helen) Tenwinkel, Rosamond ‘Rosie’ (Kenneth) Clausen, Florence (Robert) Hefty, Bernard Tenwinkel, Charles Tenwinkel and Louise ‘Betty’ (Bruce) Hansen.

The family would like to thank the staff with Hospice Alliance and Rosewood Manor doctors and staff for the wonderful care provided to Janie.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 7 p.m., at St. Charles Catholic Church with the Rev. Yamid Blanco officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 625 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington, on Oct. 6, from 3-6:15 p.m. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 2:30 p.m.

The family is asking that memorials go to The American Cancer Society.
