Lola Mae (Gruenert) Giebel, 79, died peacefully Nov. 8, 2015, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Valton, Wis., on Nov. 7, 1936, to the late Rudolph and Elva (Warn) Gruenert.
She married Freddie Immanuel Giebel on June 18, 1953.
She loved crafting, gardening, fishing, spending time with her family/friends and just being active. She was a dedicated Green Bay Packer fan.
Survivors include her children, Steven (Susan) Giebel, Manitowoc, Nancy (Larry) Ketterhagen, Burlington, Terry (Tara) Giebel, Dresser; son-in-law, Scott Elmer; 21 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter, Dianne (Scott) Elmer.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, Dec. 13, at the home of her daughter, Nancy Ketterhagen, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a prayer session at 1 p.m. Please contact the family for directions. Heritage Cremation Provider LLC served the family.
