ALBERT H. MILLER JR.

Easter Lily      Albert H. ‘Montana’ Miller Jr., 79, Burlington, died Jan. 19, 2016, at Ridgewood Care Center in Racine.

He was born in Racine on Sept. 7, 1936, to the late Albert G. and Florence (Magnusen) Miller Sr. He spent his early life in Racine where he graduated from Horlick High School before attending UW–Madison where he received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.

On Aug. 4, 2001, he married Jeanne Hawkins.

He worked at A.W. Oaks & Sons in Racine. He was an avid Packers and Badgers fan and enjoyed deer hunting, shooting pool and spending time with his dog, Cotton.

Survivors include his wife; children, Cori Wesolowski (Randy Schneider), Scot (Shawna) Miller, Todd (Michelle) Miller; step-children, Michael (Deb) Nelson, Kayelynn (Monte) Valdez, Lori (Tim) Kiley, Kyle (Joy) Nelson; grandchildren, Kelsey (Graham) Cass, Cassandra Schneider, Randi (Cory) McCallie, Haley (Kyler) Parkinson, Paige Miller, Joshua Miller, Steve Miller, Auburn Miller and Damon Miller; step-grandchildren, Brianna Nelson, Parker Nelson, Brian Peterson, Jennifer Peterson, Jonathan Nelson, Lindsey Valdez, ‘T’ Valdez, Kris (Allie) Kiley, Kyanna (Eddie) Kiley, and Kayla (John) Kiley; great-grandchildren, Emerson Cass and Kingston McCallie; sister, Jackie Baranek; in-laws, Joan and Cloyd Porter; ex-wife and mother of his children, Sandra Miller; cousin, Jerry Miller; his best friend, Allan Oakes.

He was further preceded in death by his stepson, Patrick Nelson, and brother-in-law, Carl Baranek.

The family would like to thank the staff at Ridgewood Care Center and All Saints Hospital for their wonderful care.

An opportunity for sharing memories of Montana will be held Saturday, Jan. 30, at 2 p.m., at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 625 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington. Visitation for family and friends is Jan. 30, at the funeral home, from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be private.
