Gaynel Flack, 83, West Lafayette, Ind., died Jan. 27, 2016, in the Indiana Veterans Home. She was born on April 29, 1932, in Hayden Township, Ind., to the late Earl and Estella Frances (Padgett) Green.
She graduated from Lafayette Jeff High School in 1950.
On Nov. 4, 1961, she married Keith Flack in Hammond, Ind. He preceded her in death on Oct. 27, 2005. She was a homemaker who loved being a mom and grandma. She enjoyed vacationing in northern Wisconsin.
Survivors include her sons, Bruce Cayse, Burlington, Brad (Flora) Cayse, Rockford, Ill.; her sister, Nellie Kerr, Lafayette; and her grandchildren, Ryan Cayse and Megan Cayse; along with many lifelong friends.
She was further preceded in death by her daughter, Denise Hetland-Cayse.
Visitation is Wednesday, Feb. 3, at 10 a.m., followed by services at 1 p.m., at Fisher Funeral Chapel, 914 Columbia St., Lafayette. Interment will be in Spring Vale Cemetery.
