Sports Editor Mike Ramczyk counts down the final seconds of Catholic Central’s 37-35 win over Barneveld in the WIAA Division 5 state semifinal game at the Kohl Center in Madison.

The Toppers (19-9) advance to their first state championship since they won it all in Division 4 in 2006.

On Saturday morning at 11 a.m., Catholic Central takes on McDonell Central (26-2), which was ranked second in the state in Division 5 to end the regular season.

McDonell defeated Green Bay NEW Lutheran, 70-51, in the other D5 state semifinal.
