Chamber Choice Awards banquet set

The 2012 Chamber Choice Awards and Installation banquet of the Greater Union Grove Area Chamber of Commerce is Saturday, Feb. 25. All are welcome to help honor Country Rose Bakery & Café (business award) and Frank Lamping (individual award) for their contributions to our community. The theme is World of Thanks.

This year’s winners were chosen by chamber members. A posthumous award will be given in memory of Jerome Stendel, past board member, for his commitment to the chamber.

 

The public is invited

Help make this a night to remember by attending banquet at the Bixby-Hansen American Legion Hall, 1027 New St., Union Grove. Entertainment will be provided by David Temple, cash bar and silent auction starting at 6 p.m. and a sit-down dinner served at 7 p.m.

There are three entrée choices: $27.50 prime rib, $21.50 stuffed pork chops, and $21.50 Cornish hen. Entrées are served with salad, baked potato, dessert and two beers or soda. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

 

The ceremony

The installation ceremony welcomes both 2012 Union Grove Chamber officers, Eric Daniels (president), Bill Stoebig (treasurer), Rebecca Miller (secretary) and 2012 chamber board of directors, Mike Boehmer, Jim Carlson, John Donovan, Don Meredith, Frank Krupkowski and Leslie Stephens.

Reservations

Registration and payment is due by Monday, Feb. 20, to the chamber office at 925 15th Ave., Box 44, Union Grove. Indicate the entrée choice for each attendee and make checks payable to Chamber of Commerce.
