JENNIE S. WILLIAMS

Easter Lily      Jennie S. Williams, 69, Waterford, died April 20, 2016, with her family at her side. She’s now running the streets of heaven with her daughter, sister-in-law and brother.

She was born in Indianapolis on Sept. 22, 1946, to the late James M. and Georgia M. (Alexander) Daniel. She spent her early life in Greenfield, Ind., where she graduated from New Palestine High School before attending Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, Iowa.

On Sept. 25, 1965, in Greenfield, she married Lawrence H. Williams. Following marriage they made their home in Greenfield and Ankeny, before moving to Wisconsin in 1982.

She worked as an executive administrative assistant for Kleen Test, was a member of East Troy Bible Church and volunteered at Burlington Hospital making prayer shawls. She loved crocheting, stamping, and making cookies and candy, especially during the holidays.

She fought a very courageous battle with cancer for 10 years, one month and 10 days and touched many with her faith and strength. No matter what challenges she faced she never complained and always put everyone else’s needs above her own.

Survivors include her husband of over 50 years, Rev. Larry; son, Brian (Valerie) Williams; grandchildren, Tyler, Kyler, Abigail and Mikaela; siblings, Tina Heckert, Doris Daniel; sisters-in-law, Mary Frances Daniel and Jeneen Gebhardt; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

She was further preceded in death by her daughter, Laura Williams; four infant siblings; brother, James; sister-in-law, Cheryl Worley; father and mother-in-law, Dr. Lawrence and Anna Williams.

The family would like to thank Seasons Hospice, St. Luke’s Interventional Radiology staff, Dr. Haider and staff, and all the wonderful volunteers who came to help and care for Jennie.

Memorials to the family to assist with funeral costs would be appreciated.

Services for Jennie are Monday, April 25, at 1 p.m., at Community United Methodist Church, 455 S. Jefferson St., Waterford, with Rev. Larry Daniel officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Knoll Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends is Sunday, April 24, from 2-6 p.m., at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 625 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington, and again Monday, April 25, from noon until the time of the service at the church.
