Marvin A. Rosenwinkel, 89, Union Grove, died April 20, 2016, at Wisconsin Veterans Home. He was born in Elmhurst, Ill., on May 31, 1926, to the late August H. and Helen (Matthews) Rosenwinkel.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He married the former Jean Price. She preceded him in death in 1986. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan and especially an avid lifelong Chicago Cubs fan.
Survivors include his brother Elroy; brother-in-law, Ralph O’Connell; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
He was further preceded in death by his brother, Wilmer, and his sisters, Elaine and Delores.
A Memorial Service is Thursday, May 5, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, with the Rev. David Ramirez officiating. Inurnment will be in Elmhurst, Ill. Purath-Strand Funeral Home & Crematory, Racine, is serving the family.
