Susan Koezly, 80, a lady of gentle and strong faith, died peacefully May 7, 2016. She was born Jan. 25, 1936, with her twin sister, Sally, in New Hampton, Iowa.
Susan taught at St. Juliana’s in Chicago, St. Joseph’s in Wilmette, Ill., St. Charles in Burlington, and CCD at St. Thomas in Waterford.
Survivors include her children, Edwin III (Monica), Robert (Kayls), Thomas (Cheri), David, and Jane (Todd) Fabozzi; grandchildren, Jennifer, Clare, Joseph, Samuel, Meghan, Rebecca, Bridget, Lauren, Amarion, Trent, Sarah, Joshua, Brian; great-grandson, Barclay; siblings, Sally (Ted) Katzmark, Walter (Glennda) Murphy, Thomas Murphy, Laurie (Jim) Davis.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Frederick Koezly Jr., parents Gerald and Loretta Murphy, sister-in-law Angela Murphy, and nephew Patrick Murphy.
Funeral Mass was May 11, at Epiphany Church in Coon Rapids. The family thanks the kind and skilled people at Abbot Northwestern and J.A. Wedum. Washburn-McReavy Funeral Chapels, Minneapolis, served the family. Memorials will be given to Catholic school education.
