ARIEL ANN ‘ANNIE’ LENZ

Easter Lily      Ariel Ann ‘Annie’ Lenz, 74, died peacefully May 12, 2016, at her home. She was born in Richland County to the late Lloyd and Mildred Burns on Jan. 29, 1942, one of five children.

Annie spent the last 30 years working in real estate for many companies with her most recent being Shorewest in Burlington. Prior to real estate, Annie worked for White Construction, Payne and Dolan and Snap-On Tools.

She had many favorite past times including cooking, catering, socializing, fishing, spending time with her loved ones and church family. She had many special friends that are ‘Annie’s Angel’s.’

Survivors include her daughters, Kim (Bloss) (Tim) Webber, Silver Lake, Keli Jo (Mark) Storz, Tennessee; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Jeanette (Jan), Virgil Ruhland, Ellen Mae Casey, and brother, Jack Burns.

She was further preceded in death by her brother, Eugene and sister-in-law, Regina (Lenz) Burns.

The family would like to thank Debra DeVries, Rosa Gerkan, Sandy Carlson, Norma Rassmusen, the Shorewest crew and Deanna Zirbel. It would have been impossible to fulfill mom’s wishes of being at home during her final days without your kindness and love for our mother.

A memorial celebration of her life is Tuesday, May 31, at the New Munster Town Hall, 34315 Geneva Road, New Munster, from 4:30-8:30 p.m. Join family and friends for a light meal and refreshments while sharing stories and memories of Annie.
