Judith L. Newkirk, 63, Rochester, died peacefully on June 14, 2016, at her home. She was born Jan. 24, 1953, in Burlington, to the late Leo and Beatrice (Gandt) Barbian. She grew up in the Wheatland area where she attended Wheatland Center School and graduated from Salem Central High School.
On April 20, 1991, in Tichigan, she married Raoul A. Newkirk. She worked for Foster Forbes for 38 years. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband; children, Cheryl Drew and Linda Tuchalski; grandchildren, Bradley A. Tuchalski, Emily M. Tuchalski, Jacob Gardner and Jordan Gardner; great-grandchildren, Adrienne Tuchalski and Barret Rafajko; siblings, Gerald Barbian, Lawrence Barbian, James Barbian, Joseph Barbian, Jean Sokolowski, Joan Westerhold, Joy Blaha, Jody Regner and Jill Lewis.
She was further preceded in death by her father-in-law, Phillip Newkirk; grandson, Joshua Raoul Gardner; brother, Gary Barbian; sisters-in-law, Reggie Newkirk and Beverly Smith; and brother-in-law, Brian Newkirk.
Memorials to the Wisconsin Humane Society or Aurora at Home Hospice of Burlington are suggested.
Services for Judy have already been held. Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory, Burlington, served the family.
