Fresh off their 6-4 victory over Arrowhead in the WIAA Division 1 state championship game, the Burlington High School Demons got a noisy escort back to Burlington late Thursday night.
The Demons will get an official homecoming at 10 a.m. Saturday during a parade through the streets of downtown Burlington. According to City of Burlington officials, the parade route will follow Kane Street to Milwaukee Avenue to E. Chestnut Street to Pine Street.
The parade will end at Wehmhoff Square Park adjacent to the Burlington Library where the celebration will continue, according to a news release issued by the city.
