A commemorative Burlington Demon baseball state championship special edition is a available at newsstands in local stores.
The magazine-styled Burlington Standard Press special section features in-depth coverage and photos of the team’s first state title, which was achieved Thursday in Appleton thanks to a 6-4 dispatching of Arrowhead.
It includes a feature story on longtime manager David Sheffer, a focus on how Burlington Little League has helped city baseball, and plenty of color photos from both the state baseball tournament and Saturday’s championship parade in downtown Burlington.
