BURLINGTON – Dallas Cowboys star quarterback and 1998 Burlington High School graduate returned home for his 13th annual Tony Romo Football Camp Wednesday and Thursday.

Wednesday’s session included a press conference, where various media outlets such as Milwaukee’s TMJ4 television station, the Racine Journal Times and Southern Lakes Newspapers asked the 36-year-old father of two about his health, the upcoming NFL season and his chances at making the Hall of Fame.

Romo helped teach football fundamentals to the younger kids Tuesday, and Wednesday featured the second annual Tony Romo Border Battle, where high school teams from Illinois and Wisconsin battled in a tournament.

Romo said his ultimate goal is to win a Super Bowl, and he believes the Hall of Fame and other accolades will come after team success.

Here, Southern Lakes Newspapers Staff Writer Jason Arndt captures Romo talking about Green Bay Packers legendary quarterback Brett Favre, who will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame this summer.

Check out Wednesday’s Burlington Standard Press for complete coverage from the Romo camp, including photos and Romo’s commentary.
