Marcia B. Sossaman, 86, Muskego, died July 18, 2016, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. She was born in Colby on Sept. 10, 1929, to the late Edward and Arma (Russ) Schultz. She was a graduate of Colby High School.
In Colby, on Dec. 13, 1947, she married Floyd C. Sossaman, who preceded her in death on Sept. 12, 2011. They lived in the Milwaukee area including Hales Corners, Franklin, Muskego and some time in Wind Lake.
Marcia worked as an office clerk for Meco Products in Franklin and was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church, Wind Lake. She loved to work in her garden and play Scrabble with her sister. What she enjoyed most in life was to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her Children, Terry (Jane) Sossaman, Waterford, Candace (Peter) Zak, Appleton, Russell, Rhinelander, Gail Curtin, Wisconsin Rapids, Thomas, Rochester; grandchildren, Michelle, Leslie, Sarah, Michael, Jason, Julie, Kevin, Christopher, Kimberly, Carrie, Rebecca, Robert and Jamie; 19 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ralph (Wilma) Sossaman, Dixie (Kenneth) Ingersoll, Blondie Sossaman, Elaine Schultz; special friend, Jeri Billeb; other relatives and friends.
Visitation is Friday, July 22, from 10 a.m. to noon with Mass starting at noon at St. Clare Catholic Church, 7616 Fritz St., Wind Lake. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery in Waterford. Mealy Funeral Home, Waterford, is serving the family.
In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy, memorials are suggested to Breast Cancer Research.
