JACQUELINE J. REICH

Easter Lily      Jacqueline J. Reich, 67, Waterford, died July 18, 2016, in Neillsville, on her way to her favorite vacationing spot with her family at the Boundary Waters Canoe Area in Minnesota.

She was born in Burlington on Nov. 17, 1948, to the late Raymond and Doris (Noll) Baumgart. She spent her early life in Waterford where she was a Waterford High School graduate and also attended Carthage College.

On May 3, 1969, she married Charles P. Reich who preceded her in death Jan. 20, 1994. She was a homemaker and food service supervisor at Waterford Graded School for over 30 years. She was a member of Norway Lutheran Church where she helped with the food pantry, Helping Hands. She also delivered Meals on Wheels for a few years. She loved to camp and spend time in the outdoors, especially trips to the north woods. Her greatest joys were her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Todd (Sandra) Reich, Megan (Tom) Polzin, Erin (David) Olson; grandchildren, Cade and Marena Reich, Marissa Adelle and Austin Polzin, D.J. and Tyler Olson; her canine friend Murphy; other relatives and friends.

She was further preceded in death by her golden retriever Tandee.

Visitation is Thursday Aug. 4, from 10-11:30 a.m., at Norway Lutheran Church, 6321 Heg Park Road, Wind Lake, with services beginning at noon. Burial will take place at Rochester Cemetery at 2 p.m., following services. Mealy Funeral Home, Waterford, is serving the family.

In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy, memorials are suggested to Helping Hands Food Pantry at Norway Lutheran Church or ‘For Pet’s Sake.’
