Sunshine Rose Schmidt, 36, died Aug. 7, 2016, in Darien. She was born Feb. 25, 1980, in Kenosha,
Sunshine graduated from Bradford High School and the College of San Francisco. She was previously employed by an environmental agency in San Francisco as a managerial assistant. She loved the outdoors, and loved to garden and read.
Survivors include her children, Bailey Higgins-Eaton and Giavonna Schmidt; parents, August Schmidt III and Lisa (Thompson), her brother, August Schmidt IV; and sister, Heather Lux.
A memorial service for friends and family will be held on Sunday, Aug. 28, at 1 p.m., at the White Fox Den II, 28023 Kramer Drive, Waterford. Cremation Society of Wisconsin served the family.
