Donald W. Pirk, 64, Iron Belt, died Sept. 12, 2016, in Iron Belt. He was born June 22, 1952, in Burlington, to the late Leslie and Marion (Normolle) Pirk.
Don grew up and attended schools in the Burlington area. He was a self-employed accountant for many years and most recently worked for Walmart in Ironwood in the accounting department. He was a very proud and active member and former District Governor of the Hurley Lions Club. Don thought of the Lions members as members of his family.
Survivors include his sisters, Sharon Ludtke Wagner, Wausau, Sandra Lui, Jacksonville, Fla., and niece, Cheryl Fiel, Gleeson.
Per Donald’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Range Funeral Service & Crematory, Ketola-Burla Funeral Home of Ironwood, assisted the family.
